Ayesha Takia Azmi has worked as an actor in Hindi movies since 1986. In 2004, Ayesha Takia was awarded the Filmfare Best Debut Award for her starring performance on Taarzan The Wonder Car which was her first acting role. Later appearances in the film include Paathshaala (2009) Wanted (2010) Salaam-E-Ishq (2007, 2008) and Socha Na Tha (2010). Her first was a cameo in a commercial for Complan.
